How to report a problem (sewers, drains, power, roads)

Drains / toilets backing up

First check if neighbours have same problem as could be just your property in which case call a plumber.

Call and speak to SW over the phone. Available Monday to Friday, 7am-11pm and Saturday and Sunday, 7.30am-10.30pm. If an emergency, you can call our 24-hour emergency line. Calls charged at local rates. 0330 303 0368

Make a note of tracking number and let the PC know if it is a problem whole area of village.

Power cut or cables damaged

Call SSEN on 105

Keep well away from cables and report immediately

Tree blocking road

Contact landowner from where tree has fallen, and HCC if road blocked
