Party Tents / Marquees
The Longparish Community Association has a number of large party tents available for use by LCA members and Affiliated Groups. The largest tent is 6 metres wide x 10 metres long, which holds about 100 people standing or 60-80 seated.
We have three sizes available:
10m x 6m
12m x 4m
8m x 4m
All the tents are from the Gala Tent range of marquees made from their top of the range PVC fabric. Tents are supplied with ground pegs and straps, or they can also be erected with ground bars if you need to use it on a hard surface.
If the 6m x 10m is too large, then we also have a smaller 4m wide x 8m long tent that can be used either as a tent or as a large gazebo (roof only).
LCA will provide the tent and (if needed) an expert to help you put it up. You will need to be able to provide transport for the tent - tents have 2 meter long steel poles and all the parts needed for the large tent weighs in at a hefty 350kg! You will also need to provide a number of helpers (at least 6 for the larger tent, 4 for the smaller one) and make a donation (£100-£150 for the larger tent / £50-£75 for the smaller one) to LCA and give the expert a suitable bottle.
At the discretion of the committee, the tents are available free for use by affiliated village organisations for events like the fete.

Other Equipment
The following equipment is owned by the Community Association who are keen to make it available for use within our community. Local organisations affiliated to the Community Association are welcome to use the equipment free of charge (although obviously any donations to go towards the cost of equipment replacement would be gratefully received). Individual members of the Community Association are also welcome to borrow equipment for their personal/family use. A minimal charge will be made for a number of the items (marked), although again, donations gratefully accepted! We reserve the right to charge users up to £100 where equipment is damaged.

If anyone wishes to use the equipment in the village hall they should make separate arrangements to book the hall directly.

8 x A1 but only 6 currently have the right fittings. Self standing or can be used on a table. If you use staples to attach things, please remove them before returning the boards or they can cause injury.

Urn for boiling water.
Hot jug (for coffee/tea)
Coin Counter.
Useful if you are running a large event and have lots of cash to count (Note: does not work with new £1 coin).
