NOTES AND SUPPORTING STATEMENTS
- Cemetery Fees. Decreased usage in comparison with 2016/17.
- Grants. £3562 = S106 monies owed from 2016/17 & £1693 = ex-gratia payment from Hill & Valley magazine (to be added to Playground fund)
- VAT Refund. Refund of VAT for 2016/17 now included.
- General Administration. Lower costs in 2017/18.
- Open Spaces. Represents normal expenditure – higher costs on 2016/17 due to Playground refurbishment.
- Village Hall. £6,128 earmarked as Council’s final contribution to Village Hall Refurbishment Project returned to Village Hall Committee.
- Longparish Community Association. No request for funding this year.
- VAT Paid. Payment of VAT for 2017/18 now included.
- Net operating income. Grant monies received in year = £5255
- Loan Balance. Previous year’s loan balance added back to avoid double-counting.
- Playground Equipment Fund. £500 earmarked annually for major repair or replacement of playground equipment, and £1693 = ex-gratia payment from Hill & Valley magazine (to be added to Playground fund)
- Loan. Balance of PWLB loan at end of financial year.
- Basis of Accounts and Rounding. Figures are inclusive of VAT, which the Council is able to reclaim, and all figures in the accounts are shown to the nearest £1.
