Longparish residents will have all received a letter from Wheelabrator inviting them to a public exhibition about their proposal for a waste to energy facility on Raymond Brown land by the A303 at the Barton Stacey turn off.

This project is classed as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project which means Wheelabrator have to submit an application to the Secretary of State which they plan to do by the end of the year.
This is a pre application consultation period and there will be time later in the year when we will all be invited to comment formally.

The Parish Council urges you all to attend one of the public exhibition events next week. They are drop in sessions, there will be people from Wheelabrator to answer questions and ways to log your concerns.
